What data we process

The data from your bookings with us over the last three years: name, contact details and addresses, year of birth, the last characters of your documents, the details of each booking and your invoices. There is no card data in this area. To protect it, we also log the IP address of login attempts and of the requests you make.

Why and on what legal basis

To give you access to your bookings and invoices, and so that you can update your contact details, request extras and receive confirmations and invoices again: this is necessary for your rental contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Login records are used to prevent unauthorised access: our legitimate interest in protecting your data (Art. 6(1)(f)). Invoices are kept because the law requires it (Art. 6(1)(c)).

How long

This area shows bookings and invoices from the last three years; after that they are removed automatically (invoices are still kept at our office for the period required by law). Login attempts are deleted after 2 days, and requests made here 90 days after they have been handled. Your session expires after 2 hours.

Who else sees it

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. Our web hosting and email providers process it on our behalf, solely to provide this service.

Cookies

This area uses only two first-party cookies: ac_sesion, which is essential to keep you logged in (deleted when you log out or close your browser), and ac_lang, which remembers the language you chose (1 year). There are no analytics or advertising cookies and no third-party content.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, or ask for data portability by writing to lopd@victoriacars.com or by post to the address above. You can correct your contact details yourself in this area. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
